Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. All meetings are by appointment and are 100% confidential. The studio is at 333 Washington Street in downtown Boston. Call 508-380-2661 or use the contact form to schedule.
How long does a custom piece take?
After you approve the CAD drawing, production takes 2 to 6 weeks. The design phase before that depends on how quickly we settle on stones, setting, and style. The full process is described on the custom page.
Can you reuse stones from an heirloom or estate piece?
Yes. Stones and metal from an existing piece can be reset into a new, personalized setting. Heirloom and estate redesign is one of our most requested services.
Do you work within a set budget?
Yes. Every project starts with your budget. As an independent jeweler without retail overhead, Debbie works directly for you to find or create the best option at your price point.
Do you offer repairs and appraisals?
Yes. We repair and restore damaged jewelry and provide appraisals with a certificate of fair value you can use for insurance or resale.
Can you work with clients outside the Boston area?
Yes. Debbie has designed engagement rings for out-of-state clients, handling the consultation remotely and coordinating delivery of the finished piece. Read about one client's experience from Baltimore on the testimonials page.
